We went here before the four of us went to the Scandinave Spa. We grabbed a couple of BLT sandwiches to share and my girlfriend suggested the energy bar so we each got one.
The sandwich was on thick fresh bread and 1/2 was perfect. We didn't want to be too full before heading for massages and steam rooms. The energy bar was amazing! I nibbled on some before we got to the spa and had to force myself not to devour it. They're not cheap but they're so very good. A mid-spa pit stop at my locker was the perfect time to finish that baby off. Yum! I'd go there again for lunch and I heard their coffee is good too. -

This is one of Whistler's secret spots....the food is fresh, the atmosphere is funky.....and the prices are great....

I've lived in the hood for over a year, and I've only recently eaten here. The food appears to made fresh. I had some primavera pasta and it came with a choice of various breads. The portions are of average size but it was just the right amount and I was satisfied and didn't need more.
It's probably more of a place for locals, but some folks that are passing through and don't want to pull into the village (Whistler) might stop here.
The staff are friendly and laid back - I wouldn't expect any less from the Alpine Cafe.
