Asparagus, soft goat cheese and basil omelette, white cloth napkins, newspaper, terrific service, hotel anonymity ... couldn't ask for more first thing in the morning - on Westminster Hwy.

Really liked it - omelette was good and service got my socks on.

I have a feeling that when they changed the spelling of the restaurant, the quality of the food went with the sign....somewhere else.
I don't think we would have ever have come here if it wasn't for a gift certificate given to us.

We came here for dinner under no assumptions that dining here would be something out of the ordinary. Of course, we all have to keep an open mind. It is, remember, a hotel restaurant! The atmosphere is pretty good. I enjoy the location and the complimentary parking validation (we asked and the server took the price off the top of the bill, don't forget to ask!). That is good considering we don't come here for anything else.

The menu is typical of a pub and consistent with a mid class hotel. The food quality itself is excellent. The creativity of the menu and flavours is not so special. It is not that the menu is totally boring or the food is bland. That is not the case. It is just not an exciting place. Anyone who comes here should expect to find a nice setting, reasonable prices and great service. Other then that, it isn't all that memorable dining here.

I had lunch with coworkers here this week. They have a pretty decent , reasonably priced lunch menu and good portion sizes considering you are dining in a hotel. I ordered the shrimp salad sandwich ($13) which was fresh and tasty (and lite ie. not loaded with mayo). Sandwich and burgers (come in a wide variety of fish, veggie, beef, and chicken) on the lunch menu include your choice of any soup (clam chowder, chicken noodle, or soup of the day) , salad, or fries. They also have an assortment of other appetizer sized dishes, salads, and mains but I think the sandwich/burger is the best deal for lunch.
oh! and they reimburse for parking too.

This was my first and only time going to this restaurant. We chose this place because there was a 2 for 1 deal in the Entertainment book. We wanted to go somewhere for lunch that we haven't really been to before so we settled on the American Grille.

First of all I am not quite sure what they claim to be "Award Winning" for. Doesn't seem like it. They serve your typical lunch type of things, similar to what you can get in a bar or pub. They really seem to be heavy on Halibut offerings though.

I ordered Halibut and chips and it was good but it isn't hand breaded or anything like that. (I didn't have those expectations anyways). Other dishes also looked nothing special. Nothing to write home about, that's for sure.

Service is very good though, very friendly and attentive.

All in all it's a good place to come for lunch if you have an entertainment book because it is 2 for 1. However I would probably not come if I had to pay full price because on top of the cost of your meal you still have to pay for parking!

This place used to be great despite being a restaurant within a hotel.  The decor is rich and sophisticated.  The servers are polite and up to par with hospitality you expect from a hotel restaurant.

However somewhere along the way the food has taken a nose dive.  I'm pretty sure the chef and line cooks and any one else involved in food preparation has changed.  There's no way the difference can be so night and day.

The fish and meat dishes used to be succulent and perfectly prepared. Now you're lucky if you can tell the difference between your meat and a worn piece of leather.

I come here regularly for lunch since it's a staple for a lot of business lunches in the area... service is always friendly when I go and decent speed.  You can get in and out of there in an hour.

The food is decent and nice when you don't feel like Asian/Chinese, which dominates the rest of the area.  I always have one of their salads, and the blue cheese one and the shrimp and avocado one are my go-to's.  Reasonable price for lunch - about $12-$15 for a salad.  I'll continue to eat here for convenience.
