As of right now, I think this is my favorite restaurant in Edmonton to get Chinese Food delivered to my house. They charge a $3 delivery fee for me, but it's worth it. The food is simple, fairly standard greasy canadian-chinese fare, but the spring rolls are crispy (and without excessive grease), and the vegetables in various dishes taste fresh.

If you're looking to get chinese food delivered, I recommend All Happy.

This is a place that will definitely make you happy...especially if you're looking for a place to go and eat after a night out on the town =)

Service was quick, food was tasty and hot, and the atmosphere...well always fun with all the after clubbing folks there.

If you're looking for a great place to go in the wee hours of the morning when most places aren't open...then come here...definitely beats Denny's hands down...there's not even a comparison here.

You get quite a lot of food for what you pay for too.

Will definitely be coming back for more =)

All Happy seriously makes me so happy. I tried out this restaurant for the first time a couple of weeks ago. We ordered the peaches and shrimp, schezuan chicken, rice, and beef chow fun. The waitress was really friendly and have us a free green onion cake. Prices are cheaper for most dishes on the menu, with a few exceptions in which are around the same price as other restaurants.
If you like peaches and shrimp, definitely try the ones here. So big and delicious. They definitely melted in my mouth. The schezuan chicken was spicy, but not overly spicy and came on a bed of fried vermicelli noodles and these small green dried seaweed or spinach pieces that complimented the dish perfectly. Beef chow fun was a very generous serving and was... Sigh, you just have to try it. I definitely want to come back and try more of their dishes because they have a huge menu. Really.

Anyhow the hours are from 4pm-4am, so this would be a nice place to grab a bite to eat in the wee hours. Sketchy Asian restaurants are usually the best. Staff was nice and friendly. They attentive and even did the whole "how is everything?" bit. They even gave me a $3 off cpn for next time.

This is a little off topic, but I noticed that a lot of the older female diners were staring at my 6'3 Caucasian boyfriend, not in a creepy way, but in a cute, adoring way. I thought it was the cutest thing ever!

If you're looking for a great place to eat late (And by late I mean upto 4 AM) or just a nice Chinese take out than All Happy Family is the place. I've ordered pretty much everything on the menu at one point or another and it's been fabulous.

The onion cakes are a particular favourite of my crowd although the Lemon chicken is my personal favourite.

The portions are on the larger size. The Wor Wonton is best when shared and there's always been enough for 3-5 people. I prefer the shrimp wonton soup however (great for those days when you don't feel good and need some comfort food).

While the location is in a less desirable location, it's well worth the trip. And remember, they deliver! :)

I do not think I have come to this place any earlier than 1am. Their late hours make it a very popular destination for people getting out of the bars, and it can be extremely busy during the weekends. Despite their restaurant getting filled in a matter of minutes past 2am, their service has always been consistent and friendly, and the food comes out hot and fresh.

If you have ever been to All Happy, then you know they have a very extensive menu, from 'typical Western' dishes to more traditional Chinese. It's hard to find something that you will not like, and I encourage people to go exploring. Also note that although the food quality is not the greatest in town, it is definitely not horrible, and the late hours make this a very appealing location.

Their exterior may not look the greatest, and their location is in a very questionable district, but when it comes down to food- what really matters the most- All Happy does not disappoint.

I honestly didn't expect much from this place but I was surprised at how nice it was inside. The staff were helpful and friendly, again it was more than I expected.

The chicken fried rice was really good and so were the chicken balls. They weren't the best I have had but they were satisfying. The ginger beef was very good! The entire place is pretty good quality.

I have heard they close around 1 or 2 am and that is another plus. It is probably one of the best quality places for the midnight snacker.

In a city where the only places to eat after midnight are Whyte Avenue-area donair shops and the local 7-11, my first visit to All Happy Family Restaurant was somewhat of a revelation.
It was a Saturday night, post-bar, with a large group of friends, and the food was some of the best I've ever had. Since then, I've returned a million times at virtually ever hour - 2 a.m. Mondays, noon on Sundays, 4 a.m. on Fridays - and have yet to be disappointed. It's never been closed, never been empty, and the food always arrives fast, hot, and plentiful.
The menu is extensive, with both familiar dishes and others not so conducive to this Western palate. Typically, I don't stray from the green onion cakes, deep-fried tofu, vegetable chow mein, veggie fried rice, and, occasionally, the lemon chicken or chinese mushroom with vegetables, but that conservatism has more to do with having a shellfish allergy than a lack of desire. For adventurous eaters, there's plenty to choose from, including jellyfish and many dishes made from various innards.
Don't let the location (one of the city's crummier areas) or the decor (which could use an update; lights and walls cast kind of a yellow pall over the place) turn you off. In addition to food that's making my mouth water as I type, the staff is super friendly and treats customers with the same courtesy and respect whether they're professionals out for a meal or a group of rowdy drunks nearing the end of their night out.

I was pleasantly surprised when arriving at this place! It's authentic, and as others have said, it's open really late! As a vegetarian, there wasn't a whole lot, but I had a few dishes, and they were pretty good. It was a tad pricey for what I was expecting, but that's a pretty minor complaint, as it wasn't ridiculously overpriced. All in all, I liked it. I'd go back.

Pretty ghetto, but the wor wonton soup is good. $10. Seems more like a daycare though, with children running aroud everywhere. I also hear that one of the great features of this place is just how late they are open.
