I have nothing but good things to say about this place.
The first time I went there they fixed my completely mangled vintage Jean Paul Gaultier sunglasses in less than a day and for under $15. And then the second time I went there they fitted my new ill-fitting sunglasses to fit my face in under 10 minutes and for only $10. Not to mention they're very friendly and helpful and are willing to try to fix almost anything.
It kind of looks like a hole-in-the-wall and it's kind of in an odd location, but if you live anywhere in Burnaby/New West Minister/ East Vancouver, it's totally worth the drive.
Thanks, All-Canadian Eyeglass Repair!
Oh, and FYI they're not open on Mondays. -

I broke the frame of my glasses and I was so glad to find this place on yelp with great reviews. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. It appears that they've raised their prices. I paid half the price of a new designer frame. It's even cheaper to mail in your glasses ($49 on their website) than to walk into the store!
I will definitely consider other options next time. Nowadays, the price for glasses (even designer frames and quality lenses) are pretty low if you buy online. You can also order replacement parts instead of the whole frame. It's rarely worth it to fix a broken pair at the current price they charge.
If you do want to have your glasses repaired, my advice is to take a picture and e-mail it to them for an estimation before making a trip to the store. Since they don't post their prices online, you don't want to be surprised by the price they quote once you get there. If you can wait, consider mailing in your glasses instead. Check also other eyeglass repair stores online. -

I had my eye glasses fixed here and I have to say reasonable prices and great service. Was referred here by Costco and Lensecrafter.

This place is great and they weren't even fixing my glasses! Had to run an errand for my boss.. get her favourite, well loved (seen better days) glasses fixed. They weren't pretty and quite frankly she can afford to buy 10 x more expensive pairs. However, she wanted them repaired so I did my best. After 2 failed visits to other glass repairers, these guys said they could fix them. And they did. 30 minutes and they were done. $15 (I'm not sure if that's cheap or not.. I think it may be!) and the guy on the desk was super friendly. It may be out in Burnaby but was more than worth the trip, there was a great thrift store next door and a Starbucks 3 blocks away.

My favourite (most expensive) glasses fell on the floor and I accidentally stepped on them, bending a metal hinge. I thought my glasses were toast, and I didn't want to bend it back myself for fear of snapping it.
I gave Avery a call at All-Canadian Eyeglass Repair and he was really informative about the various options I had, from re-bending the part if possible, replacing the part to laser welding if necessary.
I took them in and thankfully, I was in and out in 5 minutes after replacing a small pin and minor adjustments on the hinge. He even offered to clean the other pair of glasses I came in wearing.
I happy because:
a) I get to wear my favourite glasses now and;
b) the customer service was great. You just get the feeling that these are good people. -

awesome service, very helpful and prompt....was able to repair 2 pairs of really expensive SUNGLASSES that I would have otherwise normally thrown away. They ordered in new lenses and repaired the frames.. SO instead of buying 2 new pairs at 400 each I spent about 125 and have new glasses for my husband to use. great great service....
