Alibi is pretty much what it sounds like: a big, un-fancy bar for the beer, pool, and comfort food crowd. There's lots of parking, it's in a strip mall, but it's not genuinely scummy like you'd expect of a real backwoods roadhouse (no chicken-wire, or sawdust on the floor, that sort of thing). They give out coupons to UWO students.
I was here on a Tuesday early in the morning, and it was pretty dead. But that didn't stop drunken me and a drunken friend from splitting their huge platter of greasy foodstuffs: fries, onion rings, potato skins, cheese sticks, etc., all for about $13. And the location is surprisingly good for flagging down cabs cruising down Oxford Street. -

Great place to eat, drink and watch the game. Open late, so you can eat after the bar. The messy burger is the ultimate!
