After over 70+ reviews, sometimes you feel "What can I possibly add?" - but I have some pertinent, personal experiences that stretch over the years & include this past week so this is long overdue.

I've always been able to pop into this salon when I am harried and need a 'walk-in, panic' cut - and if I had ever, ever had a bad experience you can be assured I would not return. I always appreciate that they don't insist on that sort of vibe of being 'always booked to the ends of time' or 'have but two people on staff who can cut hair' -it's much more relaxed & whoever makes the business decisions here finds it worthwhile to invest in plenty of staff as well as a deeply impressive selection of all the product you may need: and far deeper than the typical hair product choices of shampoo/conditioner and a mousse or gel.

Last week was extra-A'Pope awesome as I was a spinning ball of stressed-out energy and every single person I interacted with was so profoundly patient, cool and understanding. When I finally arrived -late- they were totally understanding. But the best of all was being placed in the hands of Kelly P., who was so very fantastic. If you've ever walked into a place with rather long hair & asked for a trim yet left with barely long hair (in tears) you would adore Kelly- I've never felt more listened to, and in my stressed out condition, I was not the best of communicators -a lot of it was that she intuited where I was coming from and verbalized it back to me to ensure that we were on the same page. There was not only NOT a whack job done on my hair, but what was done -was just exactly right. Thank you Kelly, if you even see this.

I walked into the salon a wreck and left there totally relaxed and chill, even though I still had a ton of official jerk-business to attend to. I needed some specific product for my hair and the ladies up front made sure I had it, and I really needed something that would more or less qualify as makeup and they even had that on hand. Important: never a hard sell with the products they have a'plenty, and for me that is really critical.

Some other reviewers may consider A'Pope average because they saw the one stylist over and over again and now that person has left -or they personally value decor more than overall services? I've got a friend who styles hair in SF and -yes- it's a really cutting edge place visually and they even have the turntables... all that fun stuff. But the vibe at A'Pope last week was -yeah, I guess low-key, but I'm pretty happy when there's a large staff and the customers are all happy- and they were playing The Cure and some other random but fantastic music which always makes me happy... I've never felt compelled to make remarks like these, but for someone indecisive like me with problematic hair and an experience with a beyond great stylist such as Kelly, I'm not feeling like a salon needs to be painted like it's just so-so with a bunch of old women getting their gray covered up. Plus the guidelines don't preclude it - yeah, I checked because I'm very much not going for rude or confrontational by being responsive, it just feels personally necessary after I've encountered such wide-ranging and accomplished help over the years to balance what seems so ...harsh? Yeah. Regardless, the deeds were done and done again- on both sides of the Bay. So to speak.

As you can see from my profile, I usually don't write negative reviews. But I have to for this because despite having 4.5 stars, I came out with a  beyond terrible haircut.

The experience was nice. My hairdresser was pleasant. But what really matters when your paying someone to cut your hair is not the atmosphere in the salon or the attitude of the hairdresser -- it's the haircut. Maybe she was new, who knows. Regardless, she messed up. She admitted that she messed up and in trying to fix it she made it worse.

I noted on my way out of the salon that the clientele was predominately older women. Maybe the Salon deserves 4.5 stars for their hair, but if you're young and want a nice, stylish cut I think this isn't the place to go.

Now I have to wear my hair up in pins for the next three months until it grows out and evens up. Boo.

For some reason my last update was deleted because it "lacked substantive firsthand experience".  (I had written "Alexander Pope is no more than average now that Phoebe has moved to "Watermelon Sugar" in San Francisco").  I thought this was an appropriate update since my first review talked only about Phoebe's services, but to adhere to guidelines, I will elaborate:

I would like to clarify that while happily a Patron of Phoebe's for years, the salon itself never stood out of me in any way.  I am in my mid-twenties, and this salon has an aesthetic vibe that seems more appropriate for older women then for someone from my demographic, from the clientele down to the art on the walls.  It still gains some stars for being reasonably priced for the services they provide, but they could do with a revamp/remodel to avoid the feeling of walking into a late-nineties flashback...

Wonderful color work under the nimble fingers of Paige. With a little support from a senior colorist, I was so well taken care of that of course, I had to give them a standing ovation!
This salon is lovely, parking was easy and I'm going to keep going back.
You'll want to pamper yourself - hair and skin.
Great ambiance in a great neighborhood.

I hate to give this away because I will have to compete for bookings, but Carrie is so awesome I want to acknowledge her. I color my hair and I suffered a year of searching and color/cut disasters after my long time stylist moved to New York. Thankfully, my hair looks great again and she also gives wonderful short hair cuts. I have straight, fine hair that looks awful unless the stylist is really talented and takes control. Thank you Carrie!

I just got a cut (from Carrie) and color (from Alicia) courtesy of groupon at Alexander Pope.  I'm really happy with both of them and plan to return in the future.  I'm pretty sure that they don't make much money from the groupon deal, so hopefully this review will help make up for it!

Props to Alicia, colorist extraordinaire! She also imromptu volunteered to give me a party hairstyle (when I happened to mention I was having a party that night... I know, I'm so subtle...). I was sort of afraid I'd end up all toddlers & tiaras, but it looked really great without being fussy or overstyled. She has good hair advice & is a cool person -- I'm definitely going back!

I have interacted with Pope's for nearly 30 years with adoration and appreciation.  Most recently- I was introduced to Aveda's "be curly" product line for my fickle curly locks and it suits me well.  My skin is very sensitive and I appreciate that they carry Aveda products.

So I FINALLY convinced my boyfriend, who is very picky about his haircuts, to get a cut from Noah. We both went in for back to back appointments with Noah this past saturday and we're both so pleased!

The boyfriend LOVES his haircut. LOVES IT. He kept raving on and on about how great Noah was and actually thanked me for forcing him into the salon.

Both haircuts came out looking fantastic. Thanks Noah!

I got partial highlights from Hanna at Alexander Pope Salon and I have to admit, it is one of the best highlights I have ever had...and believe me, my hair has been around the block.

Hanna is a beautiful person (inside and out) with MAD talent.  She is young but has unmatched experience.  She was able to transform my rugedy and damaged hair to shiny, healthy looking hair. The georgous color radiates my face!!!  I am getting married next weekend so she really took the time to make sure that the highlights were PERFECT.  I enjoyed talking to her, but more importantly, the final product rocks! No doubt I will look hot on my special day and it's because of Hanna and her talent. :)  I will DEFINETELY come back.

The 5 stars is for Kaitrin, stylist to the stars. Well, to me. And I'm a fXXXing (tm Nobu K) star on Yelp. DON'T TELL ME OTHERWISE.

I have a sad tale of woe as my beloved hairdresser died. I went back to the YSL counter at Bloomies to find out Olga's recommendation for a new hairdresser as she was the one who told me about Ella, the dead one, in the first place, so she tells me about her new guy, $90 a cut, but I suck it up and go a few times, find him nice enough but wedded to the idea that I will use a flat iron (hahahahah what the fXXXX??? not gonna happen). Then I saw a woman at Trader Joe's on College who had a fantastic haircut and color but I have a colorist I love already thank you very much that is not my problem. So I get the pretty lady's stylist info and bang, there you go, $60 a cut, making it worth a detour to Oakland.

    YEAH Kaitrin.

And thank you, since all I can do is sit down and mutter "I don't look at magazines and I have no clue what is in style or what would look good on me but I need wash and go, you figure it out".

I usually don't like to tell people where I get my hair done.

It is a secret that I guard like my stash of spicy chocolate (DON'T look on top of my refrigerator!!!), but I had a discussion with my stylist this weekend where I admitted that I don't give her referrals and she punched me on the shoulder.  For reals.

I see now the error of my ways.  Poor Lisa...I have been denying her business because I'm selfishly guarding my personal style.  This is an open letter of apology.  I love you Lisa and I should share the love.

Lisa McCarty at Alexander Pope has doing my hair for about 8 years now.

    There, I said it.

She only works on Saturdays because she teaches full time and that makes her a wonderful person.

    Sigh.

I know that this is going to make if more difficult for me to get an appointment.

8/3/08  Lisa McCarty has move to the lovely new Seven Salon http://www.yelp.com/bi..., just down the street.

Ugh, I completely agree with the other reviewers who had poor experiences here.   I had one of the worst haircuts of my life at Alexander Pope.  I don't even remember the name of the girl who cut my hair but she was COMPLETELY inexperienced.  She admitted that she had just finished cosmetology school literally a couple of months prior - and it really showed.   She actually ***cut my ear*** with the scissors.

Was it just my bad luck to get a poor hairstylist that day?  Could be, because the reviews on this place seem to be either really hot or really cold.   Ugh, ugh, ugh.

The 5 original stars were for Michelle only and now that she's no longer here, I want to set the record straight.  In the 3 years of my patronage here, the salon itself never stood out for me in any way.  The front desk is usually rude or indifferent at best and the stylists all seem rather nervous and unhappy.  A negative vibe permeates the place.

    So glad Michelle moved.

If it's possible to give half a star I would.  I was extremely disappointed with the colour service and haircut I received from Linda Nguyen.  I went there late November 2007 but just joined Yelp today and felt obligated to share what a horrible experience I had.  Plus, I had to get all the corrections from the botched Linda job from Jocelyn at Jaujou Studio (for the cut) and Jennifer H. from Sole Salon (for highlights).

Linda was nice & chatty but having a good personality is not equivalent to getting good styling service.  I was specific enough and even brought photos of the hair cut and highlights I wanted.  I told her I wanted layers.  She gave me layers but at the back it looked like someone plopped a wig on top of my head -- the top layers didn't blend with the rest of my hair.  And the bottom edge of my hair all merged into a "V" which is not what I wanted at all.  The layers at the front of my face were good though.

Now, the colour... I said I wanted highlights. SUBTLE highlights. According to Tony at Sole Salon (Emeryville) who fixed my colour (along with Jennifer H.), the highlights were placed too close together. So instead of seeing highlights you see a solid colour.  She bleached the parts that were to become "highlights" blonde first then put toner on top of it.  My hair was so overprocessed and way too light!  She had to put toner on twice during my first visit there because the first time came out too light.

I went back 3 days later and asked her to put more toner in, to make it darker.  It did turn a bit darker but it was still this horrible orangey-red color.  She even gave me attitude for coming back.  Ah, hello I wasn't happy when I left the first time but didn't want to spend another 4 hours in your chair!

I spent close to $200 for the cut and highlights. It was the biggest time and money waster I've had!

You know, it's really not my way to complain about service or about a person I don't know.. I got my hair cut at this place for the first time the week before christmas.   It's taken me that long to decide to share how just basically un-concious my experience was there.

See i was getting married on the 29th. the Stylist, LIsa M. commented on how much she loved my curls. i had two extra long curls hanging in the front of my hair, like an exagerated bob. She said they were great and that we should keep them.

And then, as we were talking (since she was getting married in 2008) she stops and says, hey was you're hair always uneven?  She had just cut off the left side curl w/o noticing.

I said, well a little, but not THAT much.... and she went on and had to cut of the right side too.

In addition my fiance got his hair cut at the same time, and we shoulda guessed, since the guy had like spirals cut in the side of his head, that it wouldn't be a good match. and THAT guy cut of my fiance's sideburns without EVEN ASKING.

We were in such shock we paid & tipped as normal, and NEITHER of these people mentioned what they had done, or even apologized or commented.

This seemed really sad, since the shop had been very well recommended to me by a dear friend.

Maybe both of them were having an off day, and I did enjoy talking to Lisa, but I would never  go here again.

Lisa looked agrrieved when I told her what I wanted. I parted my hair, pointed at my roots and announced, "Okay, this? Is your pallete."

See, I'm going prematurely gray. I've been going gray since I was 25, because I'm Irish and that's what we do. We pour whisky down our throats and we write astonishing, incomprehensible novels and we go gray early. (And later, we berate our children because they are the reason we pour whisky down our throats and go prematurely gray, but that's another entry.)

What this means is that I've been coloring my hair for better than 15 years and frankly? I'm really tired of it. My new mantra is to go gently and stylishly into that good night and Lisa was going to help me do that.

Lisa, however, wasn't so sure this was a good idea. Not that she argued with me--she just looked pained. "This is going to take a while," she warned. And then she set to work.

Boy was she not kidding. I'd set aside 2-plus hours for my make-over and nearly four had passed before I dashed out to the ATM up the street to get cash for a tip. (Note to management? Everyone else on the planet allows you to add your tip on the credit card. Everyone. Even pizza delivery places have this worked out. Try it! You'll like it!)

The good is, I have the coolest all-over white streaks ever, and I love them, as well as a really great cut (thanks Noah! You and your tats are very adorable!). The bad is, it required so much processing that for a week, I looked like I had a really bad wig on. Like the kind of wig you buy for $12 to go with your crazy Halloween costume.

However, after five consecutive deep-conditioning hair masks, I woke up this morning to shiny, awesome, extremely hip hair.

Thanks, Lisa! You were skeptical, but you pulled it off. And I thank you.

The owner of this establishment  messaged  me and requested that I try Alexander Pope again, after a horrifying hair disaster, with one of their former stylists.
( I have been informed that she no longer works there...one appointment too late for me.)

Anyone who knows me, would know that changing my opinion is like trying to sway the tides, but I think all of us deserve a second chance at one point or another.

I still feel that Alexander Pope should have comped my haircut and color disaster, so I will never return for hair services, but I did go in for waxing with Elizabeth, in my effort to give the salon a second chance.

Elizabeth is wonderful. She was professional, thorough and has a soothing bedside manner. I would definitely return for any skincare and waxing service with Elizabeth, and I think she is a great addition to the neighborhood.

I'm also a member of the Katrin fan club. She's been cutting my hair for more than 10 years, which says a lot. I've tried other stylists both at Alexander Pope and other salons but I've always gone back to Katrin. Her cuts are modern, stylish and creative, and she's worked wonders with my very fine, straight and thick hair. Katrin is also a good listener, and an interesting person to talk to.

Alexander Pope takes credit cards but they request that you tip in cash. Some of the near-by meters are only for one hour, so I recommend parking on a side street. Make sure to visit the near-by Bittersweet for an indulgence before or after your cut, or sit by the fireplace on a rainy day at Diesel bookstore.

    I've found my new salon!

I had been avoiding getting a haircut for sometime now since my go-to girl decided to fly off to London for love. . .
But once my hair started looking like a crazy hair helmet I knew I had to take action.
My friend Heather, who recently went brunette and fabulous, recommended I visit Pheobe at Alexander Pope - OMG! She gave me the exact haircut I wanted but even better than I could have imagined. And not only was the haircut great, but she is super sweet and great to chat with! The receptionist was also very nice making it an overall great experience.

I definitely plan to make many more trips to Alexander Pope in the future.

I found this place on Yelp and was just really stoked about the literary name and explanation on their website.  However, when I went in for my haircut on a Wednesday afternoon, the place was completely empty.  For a large salon, this was a little unsettling.  I have medium length hair and wanted a trim, plus a little more style in the front.  I got a very mediocre haircut, plus found many split ends the next day, which is pretty much the whole reason why I GET a haircut at all.  For $50 (including tip) I just wasn't impressed.

However, since it wasn't a BAD haircut persay, I will still give 3 stars, but I wouldn't recommend it.  Life's too short to have lame hair!

I have been an Alexander Pope customer for some 5 years now. For most of those years, I've been with my preferred stylist, Aly. I have developed such a meaningful relationship with this salon that I've included them in my annual Christmas gift list. My husband, who laughs whenever he sees me pick out gifts for my stylist and the other employees, is convinced that I'm likely to write this salon as a beneficiary in my will over my children.

He is probably right. Alexander Pope works hard to give me the hairstyle I want, even though my choices over the years have been not so wise. I recall one time when I asked for the Jennifer Aniston long hair look and everyone in there convinced me to go for gentle curves instead to complement my face. I am now convinced that they probably saved me from much embarassment.

I had a living social deal which is the only reason I tried this salon.  It took me weeks of trying to get an appointment, because everytime they asked how I heard about the salon I would say I had a living social coupon and then magically they wouldn't have any availability for the next two weeks.
I finally wised up after 2 months and called and just asked for their latest available appointment that day. She told me it was at 2:30, so I jetted out of work early, ran over there to be greeted with "this stylist charges $70 for a haircut" I said ok well I have a living social coupon "oh that stylist won't take those, but if you want to wait until 5:00 another stylist has space" Um, why didn't they tell me that when I asked for their latest appointment then? Since I was already in the east bay and had taken time off work I was stuck waiting around.
The girl who did cut my hair? Clearly straight out of beauty school. 1) She had no idea what product to put in my hair, the girl working on the other side of her had to correct her a couple times 2) she ripped my earring out of my ear while washing my hair 3) I had hair to my waist, she asked what I wanted I said something on the edgier/cool side, and I definitely didn't want to have shoulder length hair.  Given how much hair I had that should have given her plenty to work with. What did she do? Gave me a shoulder length bob.  Sorry, in no one's world is that cool or edgy.
    4) Plus she insulted me a number of times. Hint: among the things you don't tell a female client "you are balding". 5) Also, I want a blowdry with a round brush and flippy  at the bottom? Does not translate to use a flat iron on my hair.
Complete waste of money, time, and energy. And I think her regular rate for a haircut was only like $10 more than the coupon. She really should be working at Supercuts because my haircut wasn't worth a penny over $9.

I've only been to Alexander Pope once, since my stylist Monica changed salons. I was a big fan of Monica's, especially when I met her at her previous locale, so I worried that this new place would swallow up the girl I loved.

Getting there was easy enough. The entire Rockridge neighborhood is extremely nice and easy to navigate, by foot, car, or bus. Parking was available, but not necessarily ample. Still, nothing really to discourage a person. But I was still tense about coming to a new salon.

Fortunately, from the moment I walked in, the girls there were just as friendly as my Monica. I came a little early, but didn't realize that I couldn't tip with my credit card (NOTE: BIG piece of advice, bring some spare cash to tip!). I wound up having to walk to two different ATM locations because one was out of cash and then showing up two minutes late back.

The long and the short (real short for anyone who has seen my hair afterwards) of it is that I loved what Monica did for me. But of course, that's to be expected. What really impressed me was that Monica was still given to freedom to totally do her thing with me like she used to, although now in a much sparklier and shinier place.

    ATMOSPHERE: 4
    -Laid back
    -Professional, but not stuffy
    -Well-lit
-Welcoming to both men and women
    -All age friendly
    -But still a little intimidating

    SERVICE: 5
    -Personable receptionists
    -Talented stylists (duh!)
-Fantastic hairapy (better than a shrink!)

    PRICE: 4
-A bit more on the expensive end
-But lots more bang for your buck compared to other places
    -Better overall value

Upon moving up here, I tried this place because it looked pretty popular and modern.  I specifically asked for someone who could cut women's short hair, and ended up with one of the newer stylists (I only realized this after I was already there and she had begun cutting my hair).  After explaining what I wanted (at least an inch, maybe slightly more off), she only took off about 1/2 inch and had to cut my hair all over again to get the length I wanted.  She was clearly uncomfortable with cutting women's short hair shorter and didn't really know how to give it a good texture.  I was there for over 2 hrs and left with an average haircut and a headache.

Needless to say, I haven't been back.

All I can say is Noah is awesome and knows how to make you look damn good!! I went in there to get a very short asymetrical bob and I was really nervous because I had never gone that short. He assured me it would look great and it did! I left there feeling good and looking banging!! Go to noah if you want anything done! He will always be my go to guy

Tresca is amazing.  Adventurous, intuitive, funny.  Perfect combination of professional with a wild past - she turned a simple haircut into an afternoon experience.  She cured my hangover with painkillers and cookies and gave me a great cut while we exchanged life stories.  And there is a story there, with Tresca.  It was worth every peso.

DON'T EVER GO TO THIS PIECE OF SHIT SALON!  THEY FIRED MY TRESCA!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know you have a great hair stylist when you get a ton of compliments on your hair!! So, the person to got to here is Kaitrin. She definitely takes her time to cut and fine tune the haircut. I haven't been impressed in quite a while. She listened to what I wanted and it turned out perfectly! She also does an amazing job on color!

So how does my hair look like? Short, spiky, fun and no color (for now)....What i had before, flipped out bob with 2 different highlight colors.

So based on Alice's review I went to see Lisa at Alexander Pope and I was very brave because I didn't just do the whole "this is a new stylist so I will play it safe cut". I chopped off my mop. And I NEVER go this short. I took a huge leap of faith here and boy am I glad!

My haircut ROCKS. I am sorry I lag and don't have a photo to show you, but just trust me, I LOVE LOVE LOVE my new cut. Lisa seemed to do it quickly and effortlessly.

Its too bad she doesn't cut hair full time or these would be a lot more better looking people around. Just Kidding, those kids need her! But I am definitely going back!

I just went back and i posted a pic of my new haircut this time- see it in my photos.

I have finally found a salon/hair stylist that never ceases to amaze me.

I have never been disappointed of the quality of customer service at Alexander Pope. All of the hair stylists are sooo friendly and they actually LISTEN to you. If you tell them to trim an inch off your hair, they trim an inch off your hair -  they won't nonchalantly chop off a few extra inches.

If they are uncertain of their ability to give you EXACTLY what you want (in terms of hair color), they will kindly suggest that you book an appointment with one of their coworkers. They never run the risk of doing an unsatisfactory job.

Alexander Pope is classy, but it also has a laid-back atmosphere. Sometimes they display local artwork. Unlike most salons, Alexander Pope is not hot and stuffy. It has a soothing aura.

I would definitely recommend Alli. She is amazing! She is very careful in suggesting what colors she thinks will suit you best. I have never, ever been disappointed with my high lights/low lights. She will also give you recommendations of great hair products. Thanks to Alli, I have finally found the products I need to tame the beast on my head. She also helped me find the perfect hair color for my complexion.

Keep in mind that Alexander Pope is fairly expensive. But it's totally worth it.

I moved to Claremont/Rockridge in February of '07, so I decided to let go of the salon I had been going to for years and yelped some hair salons in the area.  Alexander Pope had really good reviews and seemed to be reasonably priced.

Monica was my hairstylist and she was amazing! I brought in a picture of Eva Longoria's hairstyle and she really studied the photo, asking me specific questions about what I was looking for.  I have long hair and I wanted to put layers in and add bangs as well.  She cut my hair exactly how I wanted it.  It's been over a week and I love my hairstyle more and more each day. Monica also gives complimentary bang trims, so that is a plus!

Monica was genuinely nice and she didn't even pressure me to buy hair products at the end of my appointment (which most places often do).  She paid very close attention to how she was cutting my hair, but she also found time to chat with me during my appointment.

The salon's atmosphere was pleasant, clean, and stylish, and everyone was friendly.  The prices are reasonable at this salon (I paid $50) and I'm definitely going back! Thanks, Monica!

I bought a groupon for a full color and deep conditioning. I called and scheduled an appoint with no issues. Got the time and date that i wanted, perfect. I am always skeptical about using groupons because they've got your money already. Got there, took forever for the hairstylists to agree with ME on MY hair color.... So i just went with a medium auburn...... 2 hours later.... there is a problem on my roots are brown... Looks like im getting a root touch up. Girl panics and said that she needs to ask the owner. Owner tells her to put a darker dye on my hair..... Keep this short, i can home with 4 inches of brown hair and the rest black... WTF?! How do you let someone walk out of your salon like that. There was no deep conditioning, more like massaging my hair with conditioner for 5minutes.... Alexander pope you have dissapoint me BIG time. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!! Think   i would have done a better job with 5$ LOREAL walgreens/CVS hair dye!

One more new client to add to the Alexander Pope Salon list!!!  I was referred to APS by a friend and I'm happy to say I will now be a regular here. I recently had my hair cut by Noah and couldn't have been happier with both my experience at the salon and the cut itself. Not to mention Noah is a diamond of a find!!!  He's everything you want in a stylist--he listens and provides feedback, he immediately made me feel comfortable in what was a new salon for me, gave me a fantastic cut and the prices were totally reasonable!! In the end I bought product that he recommended, and i love it, but he wasn't pushy at all about trying to up-sell me, which i really appreciate.

    He's the best! Thanks Noah!!

I've been a client of Alexander Pope's for about two years.  Have worked with several stylists and have always been very happy with my hair service.

Have had both cut and color done... the stylists really listen and want to do what you request (as opposed to having their own "vision".)  Additionally, the cost is reasonable, especially considering the amount of training the stylists have.

The rest of the staff is very friendly.  When you walk in the salon, you are greeted immediately.  I won't be changing salons!

Just used my other Daily Deals / Living Social voucher here for a haircut with Claudia. She did an awesome job and did exactly what I wanted. I'm used to keeping my hair long so chopping off too much is usually out of the question for me, but she managed to keep the length but still give me layers that weren't too short in the front or back. She also made great suggestions for brushes when we talked about mine that (tragically) broke in my hand the other day. If I'm still in town the next time I need a cut or color, I'll be back.

BTW, the owner emailed me personally to thank me for the previous review, so if you have concerns I definitely think they are open to hearing them. It's unfortunate that someone else has had a bad experience recently because I've never had a problem with the front staff.

I have had my hair dyed and cut in the last few months at this Salon. Hannah dyed my hair and Claudia cut it. Both of them did great jobs and were very friendly. For my hair I got partial high lights and the underneath of my hair colored. The price was less than you would pay in the city with the same quality of work.

i got a nice haircut with noah here.  he was friendly and funny, and i really enjoyed our conversation!

as my hair grows out, i see why its good to have a regular hairstylist, because my hair isn't growing out exactly how i'd like it... but at least it started off nicely!
