Review from Randy G.
Toronto, ON
Amidst a newly-expanded sea of paved parking space, Aldershot GO station stands, a beacon to all those who pass through the nothingness that surrounds it, saying unto them "I can get you out of here!"
Sadly, that's about the best thing I can say about it.
The building itself is fairly new-looking and well maintained, and with new renovations the platforms are fairly well-equipped with shelters. Washroom facilities are minimal - one user each.
As for amenities, there are basically none. The vending machine is gone, replaced with a Gateway newsstand that only seems to open during rush hour, so if you're coming or going on a University schedule, odds are you're out of luck. There is nothing nearby - not a thing, so miss a train at your own peril.
Connections to VIA Rail, Burlington Transit and GO Buses, though which GO Buses you connect with varies by time of day / day of week. Because, really, who needs transit to be predictable or understandable?Listed in: GO Stations of the Lakeshore…

Review from Angie G.

If you need a place to connect to another train, Aldershot is suitable. If you need anything else, you're in the wrong place. There's nothing around. Be careful if booking a train w/ a layover/transfer here - anything more than an hour wait and you'll be regretting it.
