I did it, and I'm still alive. WELL WORTH THE MONEY, in my opinion. Anytime you can do something extreme and emerge unscathed, that's pretty good in my books.
They suit you in (if you're under 100lbs, you may feel slightly nervous about the amount of slack in the harness) and take you up to 10,000 feet. You'll have a dude strapped to you, straddling you from behind in the plane. It's not as awkward as it sounds. The plane doesn't seem too sturdy, but just be rest assured that, if anything happens to the plane, this is the only situation you will ever be in where you can just jump. You free-fall for about 30 seconds, at speeds upwards of 200Km, and they pull the chute and taxi you in for a lovely little landing in a field.

Look up their historical safety record. I am surprised that they are still around.
