Have you ever had lunch from a convenience store? Neither had I until today, and holy-wow it was BANGING!
I am excited to be the first to review this place...it is a HIDDEN GEM! I am so ready to receive all of the Yelp glory for spreading the good word of Alberni Market.
So, this is a convenience store, owned by a Korean couple. But in the back of the store is a little mini kitchen where you can order cheap Korean food.
I had the Bulgogi and rice (beef and rice) and it was $6 all in (love that!) and was super tasty, a huge portion and so quick. Excellent place to grab lunch if you're working. They also do Bimibap (mixed vegetables and rice) as well as some sushi and a Japanese curry.
I feel like you should stick to the two Korean dishes, the Bulgogi is too delicious to miss. Excellent prices, portions and flavor.

I've been wandering in and out of here FOREVER getting a lottery ticket and Pop and always amazed at the awesome smells coming from their tiny tiny kitchen, but not ordering anything, because, of course, I gotta get burgers. But today, I said, no more! And I went in and got the Bulgogi and rice for like 5 something, and I took it to work. It was HUGE, and it was FILLING. I couldn't eat it all, so I ate half and ate the other half for dinner later. Damn tasty! I'm on a real korean kick lately, and this is one place you can add to my list, so so good!
