I love Akari! Their "special" rolls (the Philly roll, the rainbow roll, etc) are all delicious, and $8-12 for such a roll is an unbeatable value. If you come here just to eat California rolls, you are missing out; this is the kind of place you come to try new sushi. I really enjoy the tea they serve, very tasty, and the servers are polite and efficient. Service is quick as hell too! I don't think I've ever waited more than 15 minutes for my entire order to be at my table. Only 4 stars because the music they play is terrible. Synthesized Beethoven? Christmas music in April? Come on ;)

I wasn't super impressed with Akari. The food was relatively expensive and while the sunomono was good I felt that the portion sizes were rather small considering the amount of money we paid. I would go again, but only because it's the closest sushi restaurant to me. If we had more options, I'd probably go somewhere else.
