I am impressed.
Got into an ICBC claim and i've remember my family and friends all mention about AK Autoworks. I brought in my car Monday at closing and I picked it up Wednesday afterwork. I also noticed my car was detailed, it left me smiling as my car looked new. When Kong was explaining what was fixed he also mentioned that he fixed some old damage unrelated to the accident free of charge. I was FLOORED, this was something that they did not have to do and i was surprised.
Best service, best results, one of the best i've experienced. Don't hesitate to go to AK Autoworks. -

Best autobody shop that I've ever dealt with.
My poor car was rear-ended in a hit-and-run (the ICBC adjuster guessed that a SUV with a rear-mounted tire probably backed into my car) and I needed my rear bumper repainted and my trunk lid to be fixed and repainted. Took my car here based on the recommendation of a few other 'car guys' and it was listed as an accredited ICBC c.a.r. Shop Valet.
The shop does all types of autobody repairs, but they specialize in custom body/paint work. Flipping through their gallery, their clientele includes exotics and show cars. They were able to take my car immediately and quickly set me up with a rental through Enterprise (since my insurance covered loss of use). Very prompt and courteous customer service.
The adjuster estimated that my car would take 3 days to repair but these guys were done in 2. I'm usually very anal-retentive about my car and noticed overspray from other shops in previous repairs - but these guys did a perfect job (as far as I could tell). I held off on reviewing them earlier in case I saw something not up to par in different lighting, but the rear-end of my car looks brand-new.
To top if off, these guys *detailed* my car before giving it back to me. They didn't just haphazardly wash and vacuum my car, my car looked brand new inside and out when I got my car back - it even smelled nice.
Thumbs up all around - I hope I don't have to patronize these guys again, but will do so if my car gets banged up again. -

My car got involved in a car accident and my front/rear bumper and lid needed fix. I sent it to AK based on the excellent reviews it has on Yelp.
They indeed did a wonderful job. Kong is super patient and explains everything in full details. The work is done fast (two days), shorter than what is estimated by the insurance company. They are ICBC credit and their direct communication with ICBC saved me a lot of energy. Andy (the co-owner) is very nice and sent me to return the car rental himself. From our converstaion in the car, I realize that he has over 20+ years of autowork experience which helped win car show competitions in LA, Seattle, and many other places. I felt priviledged to have my car fixed in his shop.

I brought my show car to be painted to AK from Seattle, and was worth every penny spent! Andy, Kevin and staff are great to work with and friendly! They did a phenomenal job on the car and mixed the paint perfectly to how I wanted it to look. The car has won several awards including Best of Show and has graced the cover of a magazine. I have referred many friends to AK and they have all been pleased with their work!

I signed up on Yelp just to write this review, and I hardly ever review anything. I dropped off my car on a Friday afternoon before a long weekend (stat holiday Monday). I desperately needed my car for work on Tuesday. They were able to finish it for me ahead of time and I was able to pick up my car on the stat holiday! My car was washed and vaccumed to boot - and not a halfhearted job but very thoroughly (I had not vacuumed my car for at least 6 months) Impressive service, and I would highly recommend them.

i've seen their work first hand and i gotta say, it's FANTASTIC! my buddies have had their show cars painted here and the level of the quality at the price they're offering can not be matched. if this is your daily driver, you may want to keep in mind that these guys shouldn't be rushed so make arrangements for alternative transportation while they create you a masterpiece. i plan on taking my project car all the way up there to get my paint and body work done when the time comes. it's worth the drive.
