Review from Kat F.
I noticed these statuesque leg sculptures while on a recent trip to Chicago and walking through Grant Park. They're called "Agora" and are 9' tall iron cast limbs frozen in motion at the corner of Michigan Avenue & Roosevelt Road.
According to the artist's website the sculptures were handmade between 2004 & 2006 in Poland and then transported to the U.S. and installed in Fall 2006.
Fun photo op spot and also a good reference point for meeting people in Grant Park - "just meet me by the leg statues!"Listed in: The Most Random Things I've…

Review from Adele n.
I finally got to see Agora last weekend. I always thought it looked awesome in photos. it's much better in person. Walking among these headless, armless giants made of rusty, rough iron is an evocative and thought provoking experience. This is a very impressive piece of public art.
