So my teeth started hurting and i wanted to see a dentist. My old dentist had retired and i went to this place cause its near my house and was recommended. They accept all new patients, and my appointment was booked really fast. My dentist is really nice, she always has a smile on her and cracks jokes, she makes the dentist a fun atmosphere. When shes working on your teeth shes always asking and checking your your doing okay, if it hurts or if you want a break, she really cares about her patient, not just one of those who just want to "do their job"

So I decided to go to the dentist one day. I hadn't been to a dentist in years so I knew I could only expect bad news when I went to Agape Dental Clinic.
The facility is incredibly clean and modern. I'm not sure if this is a standard in all dental offices here, but you have to take your shoes off once you walk in and use their foot sleeves. The waiting area is small but cozy, and has a flat screen with surround sound that plays the W Network non-stop, if you're into that kinda thing.
I had one of their new doctors, Dr. Coulson, and her assistant, Gladys (I think) throughout my entire experience, who were both extremely friendly. They gave me a couple x-rays and found that I needed about 6 fillings. Oh boy. The computer running the x-ray machine randomly broke down so they couldn't get all my x-rays done that day. I had chosen to get the cleaning service, so they cleaned my top row of teeth and set me up with another appointment a week later.
They got half of my fillings done during my second appointment, which took about two hours. It felt a lot quicker since each dental chair has an HDTV attached to it so you can watch TV while they operate on your teeth. I came back for a third appointment and had the rest of my fillings done.
I can't help but feel that their prices are a bit much, but then again, I haven't really been to any other dentist in Edmonton so I wouldn't know. Either way, my teeth feel much better than they did before!
