I've come into this place many times...and I'm not dissapointed ever.  The staff are awesome!  Always very friendly and outgoing.  I usually go in with a friend of mine, whos a regular...they usually recognize her off the bat and have a quick chat.

I've come here for piercings, and everytime I've gone they are very professional, clean and knowledgeable.  I'm very impressed by this location and the way it's ran.  If I have any piercing problems, or am looking for a new one - this is the location I hit up.

I've not gotten any tattoo's yet, but if I was to - I would get it there.  I've heard nothing but good things about their tattoo abilities.  And from what I can see in the portfolios, they are correct!

    I highely reccomend this place.

I have gotten One Tattoo from this location and 1 on the 4th avenue location. Overall the Tattoo artists were very nice and respectful and chill and hell i got my Ear's done as well downtown. The staff were friendly but there is one employee there that was just a straight up and rude and a bit full of herself. I asked her a question and she was like annoyed with me about gages and there sizing because it was my first one but I didn't appreciate that fact that she was being just plain rude and non helpful. That was worst experience I had here.

Will I comeback likely not because of her attitude and lack of respect to a customer.

By the way she was a RED HEAD

I don't normally go to Adrenaline for piercings, there are other tattooers and piercers around the city that I use but I'd been wanting to get my lip pierced for a while so I figured why not. It was boxing day and they had a two for one sale so it was busy but my wait wasn't even 20 minutes.  The piercer drew the dots on and gave me piercing. When he was done and looked at me he high fived me he was so happy with it. RAD if you ask me.

Decent pricing, they're good about educating you about cleaning and the jewellery and they have an awesome selection of jewellery. I haven't bought any clothing from them but they seem to have decent sales from time to time.

Ah Adrenaline, my go-to spot for piercings. I have had several piercings, at both locations and I feel confident and safe in their piercers hands.

The staff are always friendly and professional, and the store is always spick and span. I've had my belly button, my helix, my tragis, and my nose done and I've been happy each time. My helix did swell up, but they willing took a look at it when I stopped by out of concern, and it has healed perfectly. And when my nose ring fell out (my fault, not theirs) they put it back in for free.

The jewellery is definitely overpriced, so if you're looking for just the jewellery, you can most likely find cheaper surgical steel jewellery at other spots. Then again, everyone there really knows what they're doing, so they will not steer you wrong if you're unsure about what jewellery you need.

Piercings are risky, and Adrenaline makes it as safe as possible, so I don't mind spending the extra. Plus, it's open late for those last minute piercing ideas ;p!

loooove the day of the dead style art they have on the back walls, as well as the clothing they carry (black art and iron fist.)

Pricing seemed pretty high to me...

I do not love sales associate dudes following me and my friend around. Leave me alone. If I need help I will walk around aimlessly with a doe-look in my eyes.

I have had 2 piercings done here, first my helix and then an industrial a year later.

    First experience: (June 2009)
I was promptly greeted by an employee as I entered the store, and I didn't have an appointment so I simply told the her that I would like to get my helix pierced. I had to fill out some paperwork and wait about 15 minutes before I was lead into the backroom. My first piercing was done by a girl who had a lot of piercings and tattoos. She was nice and made sure to remind me how to take care of my piercing and what not. The room was very clean and everything was packaged in mini clear plastic bags. The actual process was very quick, under 5 minutes probably. Overall the service was okay, nothing exceptional. My piercing was $50 or $55 without tax.

    Second experience: (March 2010)
This time I decided I wanted to get an industrial piercing and pretty much just walked into the store like I did the first time. This time I felt pretty rushed because the girl wasn't very informative, I don't even remember if she introduced herself. She marked where the holes would be for my piercing and when I asked her to re-mark it to where I wanted it, she seemed kind of annoyed and just not very friendly at all. After the piercing was done she didn't even give me any tips on how to take care of it or the time it would take to heal. My piercing was $90-95 without tax.

Both experiences were okay, and I felt the pricing for my piercings were pretty steep considering it took them less than 10 minutes for each but I was satisfied with my piercings so I do recommend checking the place out.

Even though I have and have had my fair share of piercings over the years...I still don't like going into piercing places...it's not fear..it's that I never feel cool enough to be in there...everyone one working there is all pieced and tatted...and cool and stuff...

So when I need a new nose stud I was all nervous and coy about going..finally I was passing by Adrenaline and decide to just go in...the staff was a mix of hipsters, rockers and gangstas...and I was dressed in a suit for work..off to a bad start already...

I was surprised to be greeted as soon as I entered..small chat even ensued..and soon we got to the point of what I needed...I told him my problem was that my piercing always turns and it looks like I have a silver booger...he said this was very common and not to worry they could just bend my current nose stud..."but I didn't get it pierced here" I said " no worries man..we'll take care of you"...I felt so cared for...so welcome in this world of skinny jeans, Ed Hardy's T's and a sea of stainless steel..for the first time ever I felt good in a piercing shop....

I was taken to the back and introduced to a lovely young man that would be looking after me...he was a wee bit gangsta' for a white boy that probably grew up in West Vancouver..but I let that slide as he was super friendly...(he shook my hand and introduced himself)... and super cute :) He sat me down...we chatted..he stuck his finger in my nose along with a lubed up pair of steel tong thingys...all and all it was a great experience...

I was really impressed with the shockingly good quality of the service..I have never been treated so well in a shop such as this..even when I was paying for a service..it made me want to get something pierced just because they were so GD nice..it was also super clean which is good when needles and flesh are involved..AND not a wiff of nag champa was too be found..thank GOD!

Good job team Adrenaline...I will be back to pierce..or possibly tattoo something soon...hopefully by the cute gangsta'..

5+ stars for owner David's customer service skills. He really does care whether his client's are happy or not; a rarity in business now-a-days!

Through no fault of Adrenaline whatsoever my body has rejected my naval piercing for the second time! What the hell is wrong with me??
On top of it, I just bought 2 new naval rings for my birthday a few weeks ago. Damn!

Not in the stars that's for sure! I was offered a 3rd attempt at piercing from David and that was a very gracious offer indeed but I won't attempt at rejection a 3rd time. A tattoo now that is a whole different story and I will definitely try them out. I watched some of the artists at work and it looked wicked. I believe that is in the stars for me. You can never have too many tattoos.

I have never been here for a tattoo or piercing, but I stop in and have purchased some clothes and accessories. I found it very strange that I went to the location on 4th Ave where I was looking for a specific earring, and at that particular location they only had one, so I checked in at this location and they had two of the earrings I needed. The difference was that the same earrings at West 4th were like $10 cheaper per earring than the ones on Granville street. I told the sales associate at Granville that I had just been at the other location and seen them for less, so the sales associate did match the price, but the fact that they were priced differently in the first place and that the staff had the authority to just waive the markup seemed kind of weird to me. Not that I am complaining. Just sayin.

I have usually had pretty good customer service at Adrenaline, and I get greeted as soon as I come in, and I bring my little dog sometimes and the staff coo all over him, which always makes me laugh. I do find some of their tshirts to be waaaaaaay overpriced, as well as some of the accessories. I guess they can get away with it though because there aren't a ton of alternative clothing stores in Vancouver unless you think wearing an Ed Hardy tshirt is alternative.

Two weeks ago I got my dream piece done by Richard Vega at Adrenaline. I always wanted to get a realistic portrait of a wolf on my chest, and Adrenaline was the right place for me to go to get it done. The experience was completely awesome. He was very chill and totally dedicated to the job at hand. A few people came in to see the work in progress, giving complements and asking if I was doing alright, asking if the pain was tolerable etc. After the three hours was up, Richard spent another 30mins to wrap up the piece so I wouldn't have to sit another appointment. The price he quoted me when I went for a consultation with him prior was the price I paid, him and all the staff were extra polite and courteous... and the tattoo... WOW... The level of detail is higher than I would have ever expected. I never thought I would be able to get a tattoo of this high quality, detail and realism in my lifetime. THANK YOU!!!!!

This has been the place I've gone to for all my tattoos. I've had four done here . Each time it's been a different artist and each time it turns out perfect. I've brought it my own designs all four times and every time they neaten it up and add to it to make it look way better than it had started. When you walk in they greet you and are friendly. Whether you have had multiple piercing and tattoos done or its your first one, you don't feel out of place. While I was waiting for the artist to fix up my drawing I decided to mosey about the store to make time go faster. Some of the girls who worked there came up to me and started talking to me about the work i was getting done, that really made my wait less tiresome.
Nothing beats excellent artwork and a friendly staff. I'll be going back there every time I get a new design and want it permanently on me.

Well, I may have had a couple bad experiences at Adrenaline in the past but the owner contacted me awhile back asking me to try them out again so I gave him the benefit of the doubt and dropped in last week.  I can't speak to the quality of the tattoos, having never booked in with their artists, but I can definitely say that the service is vastly improved and the shop is now staffed by friendly and helpful folks.  The selection of body jewelry is impressive as well, if a little on the steep side.

Adrenaline is my favourite place in the world to be!  I go there all the time and I still can't get over how friendly and dedicated the staff are and how HUGE their knowledge base is.  The staff truly are amazing people and I really feel like part of the "family" of the shop whenever I'm there.  They can help you with everything from; price points to jewelry options to reference material and artist portfolios to merch, aftercare routines and pretty much anything in between.

As far as body modification goes, they do piercing, microdermals and tattoos.  If it's a tattoo you're interested in getting, the staff can help you find an artist that suits your needs and whose style is best for the tattoo you're planning.

I've had all my piercing and tattoo work done there and I just wouldn't trust anyone else.  Their cleanliness is second to none and they do everything in front of you so you know everything is one-use, hygienic and safe.  I've heard some people say that they are overpriced but I think for the QUALITY of anything you get there, it's definitely worth it!

Most any material for piercing jewelry you could want Adrenaline probably has, from organic bone/wooden jewelry to surgical steel, with much in between.  Whether you're looking for the next gauge up in a taper for stretching your lobes or  a replacement bead for your eyebrow because it went down the shower drain; Adrenaline can help you out.

They carry all-natural aftercare for piercings and tattoos alike, which is a major bonus, and these products actually work (I've used all of them myself).  And if there's anything you're worried about you can ask the staff.  They're sure to put your mind at ease.  Don't be afraid to ask because you can almost be certain they've heard your questions before.

And if you're not ready for any body modification just yet, they sell a tonne of merch; street wear and accessories for guys and gals as well as things like skateboard decks, art and so, so, so much more!  It seems like every time I go in there's something new to look at!  Seriously, definitely somewhere you should check out, you'll be back before you know it!

when it comes to getting a new piercing, Adrenaline is where I go, it might be more expensive than other places in vancouver but I would never mess up my own body because of a $20 difference. They are very proffessional at what they do. They are all very friendly and caring.
I have 9 body piercings and have gotten them all done at Adrenaline and have never had any infections or problems with any of them.
I'm very happy with my choice and have recommended this place to everyone I know. I'm going there for my 10th piercing next week..

I was referred by a friend for a sparrow tattoo I wanted to get for my birthday. The least time I got ink done was in 1991, it is now more socially acceptable, although it felt like a Hot Topic in a mall, rather than an old school tattoo parlor, the artists they have there are worth the $$$ since it is more like a studio. If you want that old school feeling you could try the Dutchman, but this place is good for professional attitude and work.

I went here yesterday to get a new ring for my helix piercing. I was a bit turned off by the price ($45) but I also don't have anything to compare that to and I was about to spend over $100 on a new hairstyle across the street, so I just went with it. What really makes this place stand out is how friendly they are. I definitely did not feel cool enough to be in there, but they were glad to help me out and they put in my new ring and then adjusted it later for free. If I ever get another piercing done, this will be the place that I come.

Went to Adrenaline to have jewellery changed. The place itself is huge and goes way beyond tattoos and piercing, selling lots of clothes and varied merch. This, along with the somewhat standoffish manner of the person staffing the desk put up warning flags for me, but the piercer who helped me was awesome -- friendly and knowledgeable. Marly helped me out and totally sold me on the place.

I wrote a lengthy review under the other Adrenaline location's listing.  My experience was MUCH like Don D's listed here, but check it out before you commit.  I dealt with BOTH shops, and they were definitely less professional than I would've liked, although I will say that I ended up with a tattoo I liked.  BUT, I can't believe the way this "company" handles itself.  It's embarrassing.  I hope they figure it out and soon, because they definitely have the potential to be a powerhouse tat shop (or 2), but conduct their business like a joke....so-so, for now.  Here's hoping for a brighter future.

I was on vacation in Vancouver and decided to get a new tattoo. Since  I love the Adrenaline in montreal I decided to check out their Vancouver location. The artist, Kirk, was fantastic. He drew a custom image right there for me and although I was a little nervous about it I gave him free reign with the colours and it turned out awesome! It was a little more expensive then I was expecting (I guess tattoos cost more out west then on the east coast) but it was worth every penny. The staff was very friendly, some of the other artists even popped in to watch. They were very encouraging. Thanks guys!!!

I went in Sunday night with friends wanting a tattoo when we were violently greeted by a small Asian girl employee jumping and screaming 'BOO' at us. I've worked customer service for many years and this is NOT a professional way to greet customers, especially if you want them to stay in your store and spend money. After shaking off that unpleasantry I looked around and when I did have questions the only staff members free to help me was a vacant looking boy with a neck tattoo and the same girl who now seemed more dedicated to trying on clothes and looking at the mirror then doing her job. Lastly when my friend did go into get tattooed the same girl yet again was screaming at such a loud pitch and at such sudden orrurnences that both me and my friend were concerned on the quality of the line work due to the artist being startled. I've been into Adrenaline a couple of times and have had great experiences with all the other staff but have always found this one employee to be particularly inappropriate. This time it was far too much to be passable. If I were the owner I would reconsider her employment and how easily she could be replaced by a much more friendly and competent person. I think I'll be shopping there on her days off from now on.
