I just returned from a fantastic trip to Victoria, and the highlight of my stay was my morning on the water with my family and Justin, our fishing guide. I have fished my entire life, and Justin's safety orientation was the most thorough that I've experienced. While it's not all about safety, that's an important thing to know - especially when it's as windy and choppy as it was on Sunday morning. His directions as we were reeling were clear and direct. He also worked tirelessly to troll back and forth throughout the morning.
I was equally as satisfied leading up to the trip. Adam promptly returned our call when we were making reservations, and he assured my mom, who is prone to sea-sickness, that they were well prepared. There was even a bathroom on board! I'm not sure what else they talked about, but a happy mother means that everyone else will have fun, too - and she was definitely happy to go on this trip!
Finally, Justin is just an interesting, chatty guide. When there wasn't something on the line, we enjoyed conversations about his other adventures, the greater Victoria area and more. -

These guys get it.
Great contact and information prior advising you of conditions. Adam was really helpful in helping make our arrangements. Justin our guide was experienced, friendly and helped make this a highlight for my two kids. We had such a great fishing experience so we booked again for the next day. Adam however called to advise us that winds were up so we weren't able to go out again. Highly recommended fishing charter righ in the inner harbor of Victoria.
Would have given them a higher rating but the fish processing store they recommended didn't seem to know what they were doing and tried to short us four fillets. They eventually said I had the full amount when I came to pay but when I opened the sealed container after flying home, we were shorted 2 fillets. I do not recommend the fish processing on the Fisherman's wharf.
