Acubalance is a small, clean, relaxing clinic in a pretty standard medical building. As you enter the door, you'll quickly realize they're all about making babies- there are books everywhere about getting pregnant and pre-natal care. The receptionists are kind and fun(ny). This clinic works with one of the local IVF clinics, so they're really into supporting that process.
About the service, I'm a little dubious, as the first recommendation was to cleanse- but to do it with using a product they sell. (Why not cleanse by just eliminating things from your diet, you might ask? Because this product supports liver, kidney, etc. function they answer.) We'll see- time will tell.
The acupuncture has been fine so far, mostly just relaxing for 1/2 hour.
Cost is steep!

Dr. Lorne Brown B.Sc, CA, Dr. TCM, FABORM is the founder and clinical director of Acubalance Wellness Centre, the first Traditional Chinese Medicine clinic in British Columbia dedicated to reproductive health and fertility.
Lorne takes an integrative approach to fertility treatment using Chinese medicine to naturally enhance fertility as well as support Assisted Fertility Treatments like In Vitro Fertilization.
After receiving his Dr. of Chinese Medicine at Vancouver's International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Lorne completed extensive postgraduate training in gynecology, obstetrics and reproductive medicine under notable experts including Dr. Randine Lewis, author of the Infertility Cure, Jane Lyttelton, world renowned expert in treating infertility with Chinese medicine and Robert Flaws, author of numerous texts on Chinese Medicine.
