We were looking to duplicate keys to a "PacLock" padlock. We tried calling/going to so many locksmith stores, but they did not carry that brand. We finally stumbled on to Action, and yes! they did have it!!
Thanks to Geoff B. for his review. I had seen the sign on their store before, but had assumed them to be an alarm system-type company, since I had noticed the "Security" more than the "Lock". -

I finally got a coveted storage locker in my apartment building, so I needed to replace the padlock. Not wanting to hike the 15 minutes to Canadian Tire in this miserable weather I stopped by this oddly shaped storefront instead.
Past all the safes and down a short hallway I came to what amounts to the showroom. It smells like a machine shop, so I can only assume that they run a brisk business cutting keys. I didn't really have time to look around because as soon as I showed my face the locksmith emerged from the back and pointed me at the padlocks immediately. When I had made my choice he even pulled out the same lock that wasn't sealed in a blister package for $2 less.
I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to return to get keys cut or any other lock related service.Listed in: Marpole
