My fiancé and I only stay at b&b's when we travel. I dig deep when researching, read multiple views, look at all pictures available and have very high standards! Found this sweet spot on the water online and nothing but great things were said about the location, rooms, the breakfasts, and most of all the hosts! We were greeted by Sue and her golden retriever Rundell with open arms. I knew immediately we had made the perfect choice. The room had a fireplace and jetted tub as well as a two headed shower with a comfy king size bed. We were celebrating 10 years together and when we left to walk into the inner harbour (which, btw, was a gorgeous waterfront walk on the wharf from their house to the harbour and only 1.68 miles!!!) we came back to roses, sparkling wine, and chocolate covered strawberries personally hand dipped by Sue. To top the weekend off my man proposed to me and now we're engaged. Sue and her husband Zen were more than willing to share both their take as well as other guests experiences as to where to eat and what to do. It was a fantastic time and we will be back sooner than later!!!
