I was with a fellow yelper who said in a previous review that he probably wouldn't come back.

    Well, he did.

And it was late at night, close to 3am and we didn't get out of there till after 4.
So we basically closed the joint.

I wasn't sure what kind of food I would get.  A few owners previously, I enjoyed the food.  Then I heard it became a late night joint and now the relatively new owners are continuing the late night hours and making Chinese food for those who carry hours like a Vampire.

We were all hungry and Nam went ahead and ordered the grub.
It was was pretty decent for this time of the night/morning.  The only thing I wouldn't eat were the baked oysters.  These were huge!  And cooked oysters don't do anything for me.
I like mine raw and small and cultured.

The gai lan was decent and the fried little white fishies were pretty good too.
We even had deep fried tofu.  None of this stuff was good for me, but I ate and continued to eat till I felt full.

**note. they don't have wuntun and is not a noodle joint. They don't have pizza and there is no  taco's.  It's basically dine in Chinese food (Cantonese style) with no frills for you to chill.

We crawled out and into the wee hours of the morning.  Drove my compadre's and our one compadrette home.

The leftover food that Nam was supposed to take home found temporary residence in the back of my car for about a week.   = stench. blech.

For this place to be open so late at night. I give it a thumbs up.
    A-OK in my books.
Some of the other late night diners there seemed a bit scary, but that's just me. I'm paranoid.

It has an Accord in my book and that's no laughing Honda.

This place used to be the bomb! We'd come here after a late night of drinking and have some great eats here. Usually congee with sides of deep fried silver fish, deep fried tofu, oyster stri-fried gai-lan or pea shoots, clams. Basically the normal late night Chinese food, and we'd stay into the wee hours of the morning. The chefs here were awesome.

But alas tis been sold recently and the new owners are not up to par.  Actually I don't think the food was good at all.  We ordered all the same food but the new chef is able to make the food, but there's no taste!  The dishes are too bland.  They aren't difficult dishes so he's definitely missing an ingredient because its being cooked properly, just not spiced properly.

PRICE: Same as before, very fair and large portions.

SERVICE: Very good, the new owners are very attentive.

SUGGEST: Unless I hear they've changed chefs are gotten better, I don't think I'll be coming back at all.  The dinner food here used to be really good too, but if their late night 'easy' food isn't even good, I'm not so sure about their dinners.

Came with my cousin and his friend here for late-light dinner. The food was pretty good. The prices were cheap but portions are a bit small. Overall it was a good experience.
