Review from Mrs F.
I've used this spa twice this year while my flights to the USA were delayed (yes, I fly UAL).
The first time I tried out their massage chair massage. I had wanted a table massage but their masseuse had left for the day. I believe I did a half hour chair massage. 30 minutes is not listed on their menu but you can request it. I don't like chair massages. I don't like being fully clothed and not lying down for a massage.
Last week my flight was delayed two hours so that gave me enough time to get an hour massage here. Because I'm 30 weeks pregnant I asked to have a lie down instead of chair massage. They accommodated my request but told me they did not have a pregnancy pillow, but had other pillows to cushion my belly. My masseuse was Jenny and she was very good; she applied more pressure because I like deeper massages, and she told me the kind of lotion she'd be using. She was schooled in pre-natal massage. I was relieved.
This was the first massage I've had since my third trimester and it was the most wonderful thing I could have done for myself since hitting seven months!
60 minutes for $75 plus taxes and tip came to just under $95. Which is USD $78. I'd say that's a great deal coming from San Francisco. I've been to Absolute Spa at the Century three times, and Absolute Spa at the Fairmont once and YVR twice. I have to say all the times have been problem- and stress-free.
Getting a massage while you wait for your plane is just such a treat and great way to kill time.
I would do it again and again. Flying UAL, I KNOW I would.Listed in: Vancouver and Vicinity

Review from Emily S.

I've been here every time I've flown to the States (yes, I'm *that* person that gets to the airport early), and I can't say I've ever been disappointed. Sometimes you get a great person, like the last time I went, but you just can't always have the same therapist unless you are a frequent traveler.
