    Pros
+ Charming garden hidden in a residential neighbourhood in Victoria BC. A must visit as part of my trip to Victoria.
+ The garden sits on a 1.4 acre land, but feels a lot more spacious. When I am inside the garden, I forgot the garden is in the middle of all the residential properties. There are so many different plants, flowers and landscaping, and little pathways in between for you to wonder around. It's a great place to spend an afternoon relaxing and getting lost in the garden.
+ Guided tour of the garden available to learn the history of the garden and the stories behind the plants and the flowers and the turtles.
+ Yes, turtles. There is a water lily pond with 3 turtles who are residents of the garden.
+ The place is open to the public from March through October and during the Christmas holiday season.  Different flowers bloom in different seasons presenting different colors at different times of the year.  Good place to take photos.
+ Bright and airy restaurant space that includes indoor and outdoor seating. You get to take in the magnificent view of the garden while dining on delicious food. Restaurant is open for lunch and afternoon tea.
+ Live jazz performance on Wednesday evenings during the summer
+ Cute gift shop.  A good place to find unique gifts for someone special.

    Cons
    - Street parking only, though it was easy to find street parking close to the garden when I visited.

Although I would not claim to be a gardener & certainly not a horticulturist, I do know beauty when I see it. Abkhazi is a gem! Hidden within the city & away even from the locals, this garden is exquisite. I predict it to become world renowned at some point in time. The grounds are immaculate, plant material varied & the food served in the cafe is nourishing, organic & full of flavour. There is much to discover at this garden that I think reveals the worlds best botanical gardens.
