Review from Sid A.
I don't mind this place! It wasn't our first choice on our short visit to Victoria, but if I was to compare it to a Denny's or IHOP back in the U.S., this is much better. The pulled pork sandwich was delicious, and the farmer burger with salsa and guacamole wasn't bad.
I guess what put us off was the lack of originality and boring style of food. It's just the same old typical fare we're used to at Denny's, and that's not a good thing. Even though it's supposed to be a standard restaurant, I would like to see this place have a few items that set it apart from the rest. -

The food is generally good, the ingredients are fresh and tasty. Where this place falls down is the service, it's very hit or miss.
We were seated quickly and got drinks quickly, but that was because the manager handled seating people. It tool 15 minutes to be greeted by our server, who rarely checked back with us throughout the meal. We had to flag her down to ask for drink refills after she walked by our table probably 5 or 6 times.
Over all it's okay for a quick meal but I won't be a regular here. -

30 Minute wait for a cheesburger.
Then they forgot the cheese.
Then it fell part before reaching my mouth.
When writing up the bill: 15% off for my bad experience. Plus $10 off coupon.
- Total Bill was $32.00 for a friend and myself. Their math? $27.00 after all discounts! I had to teach the cashier how to do math!!!

3.5 STARS. In town and stopped in to have a bite to eat. We were greeted with a small town 'come on in' and a genuine smile; seated promply. Server took our order in no time after answering all our questions. The drinks and food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. The food was good to very good. My friend had the talapia, rice, vegetable dish. According to my friend, it was properly prepared and 'good.' I had the soup, salad and corn bread combo. The Italian wedding soup was excellent albeit in a slightly smaller bowl than I would prefer. The ceasar salad was fresh. The corn bread was excellent. The decor is clean and the seats comfortable. ABC would not be my first choice for a special night out. However, if in the area, this eatery will likely fill the void nicely. Cheers.
