Tonights dinner was very good.
I had Aardvark's 20 years ago many times and remember the great taste....so after coming back to Banff and saw they were still in business and knew where dinner was coming from....
Tonight a few items were ordered - donairs, nachos, and Meaty Treat Pizza.
The pizza was very good - excellent flavour, great sauce and not shy on the condiments either, I even ate some of the crust which I never do. The Donairs were very tasty and good flavour however the pita was really tough and made it hard to eat in turn enjoy. Lastly the hot nachos with ground beef was very hearty and tons of condiments - I would make sure these were on the order when I get my next pizza.

When I went to Banff as a little girl, when thing I always remembered was Aardvark Pizza. Partly because of the name, partly because of the colorful, cartoonish walls, and of course, the pizza.
Aardvark Pizza is a tiny hole in the wall pizza joint that makes good pizza almost any time of day or night. They are open from 10am until 4am. They have a menu of traditional and not so traditional pizzas, but you can get anything you like made. They also serve sandwiches, wings and a few other items.
Last time I visited it was scorching hot outside, so I waited on the bench outside the door. When my pizza was ready the cook brought it out to me with a smile!
Aardvark Pizza is a really cute, unique little pizza place that I will visit every time I go to Banff. The pizza hits the spot, and there's just something about the place I love. It is also apparently very popular with the after-bar crowd, but I've never experienced this myself. -

Aardvark Pizza is a popular pizza place in Banff. They cover most of the deliveries to all the hotels and they are open late so it is packed when people are coming out of the clubs looking for a bite to eat.
The pizza is great. Some of the best I have had, we had the donair pizza and the pepperoni and both were amazing. They also serve donairs which are terrible. Do not try them. I had a friend buy one here at night and then he sold it to some desperate person who didn't want to wait in line for food.
Pizzas good.. Donairs bad.
