Got together with some girlfriends today and ordered take-away from this place.  I ordered the spicy beef vermicelli pho and it was very tasty.  Flavourful broth and thinly sliced beef surrounded by noodleliciousness (spelling intentional!).  One gal also ordered spring rolls which were crispy and fresh.  My huge bowl of pho cost $5.25, which is pretty darn cheap in my books.  I certainly won't need more food today!

Visited this eatery for a quick bite. It was Saturday evening and the place was about half full. I believe this is very much a mom-and-pop shop as I only saw one person in the kitchen and a gentleman manning the front. So adding the pick-up orders that they have to deal with, the service was a bit slow. However, he's quite friendly and seems to appreciate my business.

The place is very much hole in the wall. The dark lighting actually makes it less appetizing (as in I am not sure how clean my chop sticks or spoon are).

Food wise, I tried their house special pho. Soup came out piping hot and ingredients fresh. The only complaint I have was I wish they would be more generous with their basil.

I was craving pho one day but refused to leave the boundaries of my neighbourhood. Though I've passed by Taste of Asia hundreds of times, I never gave it much thought to stop by until that day. My expectations were surprisingly exceeded.

The broth from this restaurant was hot, the steak was fresh and served extremely rare (gives you the chance to cook it however which way you please) and the spring rolls (although miniature-sized) were perfectly fried.

The gentleman helping us was friendly, also a Canucks fan, and allowed us to change the channel on the television.

I love coming here and would love to see it thrive. Among many pho restaurants I've been to, this would be one of my favourites.

Parking is available on the street or side-streets and there's a bus stop directly in front of the restaurant.

I saw this place open back in 2009. I was surprised that there is FINALLY a Pho place closer up North to the Burnaby Hieghts area, as I live closer north.

I love this place as their bowl of pho is always nice and warm and hot. The soup base is amazingly savoury, which is a good sign of pho. Their combo menus are good too, so you must try them out, as they are a decent price. Only thing about this place is that it is TOO quiet, as no one comes here as often as I thought.

I recently came here again in 2011, and it has opened for atleast two years and still not a lot of people come here. I was a little be surprised when that happened. I had their raw steak and beef ball noodle soup. As usual for most of my pho places I go to, and asked for bean sprouts to be cooked. Their bean sprouts seemed fresh and not dead, and the basil was all nice and gree. Good sign of having fresh ingredients!!

The soup came shortly after I ordered and it was decent. I wished the bowl wasn't as dirty as I thought, maybe it was old. The place is decently decorated, but I don't like the lighting and the colour of the walls. It hurts my eyes a bit.

The washrooms are up to par, but the service is just normal. It deserves a perfect medium 3/5 stars. I would 100% recommend here for Pho if you are in the area.

So I'm a huge fan of Pho when I want it. If I'm not craving it, I can't stand it. However what I will say is that this place is amazing.

A friend and I went in before a movie last night and I wasn't sure how into pho I was feeling, I got my usual, rare beef and just water. He had spring rolls and spicy beef.

When the soups came they were clearly fresh and really hot.  The meat was thinly sliced and cooked up right away. The noodles were perfect, not clumpy, not too many a great noodle - beef balance. But the broth was amazing. It was a little fatty, but that always makes things taste better. There was a good balance between onion and salt and all in all it was a hit.

You know what was also awesome. It was $5. Yep that's right, a huge bowl of some of the best pho I've had for $5.

So if you're out in Burnaby seeing a flick at the Dolphin Theatre I say hit up this place before you go, you wont regret it.

Got the spicy pho for take-out and it was pretty good!  The owner even offered me tea as I was waiting :)  The pho is is now $5.25, but still an unbeatable price!

I'm just going to say it. BEST PHO and SPRING ROLLS in the lower mainland!!!! Yes, better than phnom Pehn in Chinatown and Bau Chao.  The N1 special PHO is about $5 and it's the best PHO I've ever had! The broth is just yummy I don't know how to describe it. You just have to try it! Also the spring rolls here are awesome!  Make sure you try it with one of their combos. Most of the lunch combos are only $6-7.  You can add side orders to them to.  The L1 and L3 are my favorite. You just have to try it!  As for the ambiance, well...I go there for food. Not to get overcharged to sit somewhere nice and eat crappy food.  It's clean and the food is excellent and that's all that really matters to me.
