Julianne Cragg, owner of A Modern Proposal and wedding-planner extraordinaire, is as good as they come! This gal is full of energy and wedding tips and tricks. She is patient with first-time-wedding clients, knowledgeable about the local wedding scene, and is someone who listens to what her client wants.
A Modern Proposal offers full, partial, or day-of wedding planning for a range of prices. Even if you are a bride who has it all together (or thinks she has it all together), A Modern Proposal's services can help you stay calm on your big day and enjoy your nuptials. I would highly recommend Julianne's services to any Edmonton brides. -

I knew that we were going to like Julianne Cragg, wedding planner and owner of A Modern Proposal, as soon as I looked at her website! Working with her on my daughter's wedding over the past year has been such a pleasure. She was available for unlimited email and telephone assistance, she gave us great tips to cut costs, and she pointed us in the right direction when it came time to pick wedding vendors. The wedding day flowed seamlessly because Julianne looked after every single detail. This allowed both my daughter and myself the opportunity to enjoy this special day. I highly recommend Julianne! We simply wouldn't have had the beautiful wedding day that we did if we hadn't decided to hire her!

I have been planning events since 2006 when I started working on corporate events. I have had some interesting jobs in my life, but none have been as rewarding for me as planning a wedding and watch two people make the ultimate commitment. I love weddings from the photos to the favors; it is all important for setting the atmosphere for the day. Careful planning of the event is essential which is why having a wedding planner is such a huge advantage. I graduated with honors from NAIT with an Office and Records Administrative Assistant diploma, in 2006 and completed my Event Management Certificate from Mount Royal College in 2009, and was also certified as a wedding planner from the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada (WPIC), in 2009.
