Located in the lively Latin Quarter of Montreal, in the heart of downtown and walking distance to just about everything awesome, this quaint bed and breakfast is a delightful home away from home. The rooms are clean and spacious, each with a unique, artsy decor; I stayed in the Ardente room, a sunny, inviting space painted in hues of red and pink. The atmosphere was very warm and inviting, as was Robert, one of the owners of A l'Adresse du Centre-Ville. Upon our arrival, he made sure we found a decent, free parking space where we wouldn't give a ticket, provided us with maps of the city, and gave us a few suggestions on how we could spend our time. He was just fantastic!

My favorite part of staying at this place was the small, wonderful, second floor terrace. Though it was a bit chilly in Montreal in mid-October, I still found time to sit out there each night. It was a perfect escape in the middle of the city, and the perfect place to enjoy a glass or two of wine after walking around all day long.

The only downside to my stay were the thin walls. I could hear everything--and I do mean everything. Usually, I was so tired that it didn't matter much, but fair warning to my fellow travelers: it would be impossible to sleep much past nine, as that's when the loud, jubilant breakfast mayhem begins. I was thankful though--it forced me to get out there and explore rather than sleep the day away. But consider yourself warned.

Overall, a delightful stay. I found myself missing the place the moment I left.
