Since I went vegetarian, I sometimes miss fast food. No, really, I do. 'Cause a lot of fast food is meaterrific. Thankfully, A&W has their "Swiss veggie deluxe" burger.
Which is good. Nice to have an option. And I do love the A&W onion rings...
Though, I'd much rather it be simply a "Swiss veggie." The "deluxe" part means a special bun, special cheese, special sauce, etc. I just wanna regular burger but with a veggie patty! (And, yes, you can request exactly that but it usually throws the counter staff completely off their game.)
So, specifically: this place is okay. I don't eat here very often but when I do the service is efficient (if not always the friendliest). There's limited seating and on weekdays, you may have to fight with high school kids for the few seats there are.
If you are a fast food junkie (like I used to be) it's an easily overlooked spot as it's hidden within Park Lane. But surely, you don't want the more noticeable McD's every time right? Surely, you want to mix it up. Surely? -

I'm an uncle so naturally I'm going to want the "Uncle Burger."
I really do love their Uncle Burger. I don't know if its because I am in fact a proud Uncle of a beautiful three year old Niece or not. But either way, this is one good Burger.
This particular A&W is located right beside a movie theater, gym and a dollar store among other businesses, which are all inside Park Lane Mall. So its a great area with consistent heavy traffic. You would think given the amount of people who order from them every day, that they would be faster at what they did. Unfortunately this is not the case. The Staff are in fact quite slow and Customer Service does not seem to be at the top of their list.
Luckily I don't need to talk to them for too long since all they need to do is make my food and run through my order. But a smile or some friendlier service would help make the experience a four or even five star experience. Instead, A&W will get a respectable three star rating for being in a strategically good location and having good, bad for you fast food.
