Don't let the God awful exterior fool you, this is an awesome high end vintage store. If you are looking for cheap finds, I suggest you hit up Ossington and Dundas instead. All the items are tagged and have a little story on their origin, material, and era (the more little tags the more the garment will be).
I saw so many dresses I loved... but sadly most of them were much too small. Upon hearing me bitch about sizing, the girl at the counter let me in on a little secret that just may ruin my savings account forever.
You see at 909 they have a wish book at the front where you can give them your size, phone number and what you look for (pour moi, I am particular to dresses circa 1950 with full skirts... petticoats are a bonus).
When they go shopping for now items they will bring the book and shop with you in mind and give you a call if something really hits the mark. Awesome... I now have a vintage personal shopper :-)
