I lived in Coach Hill for a number of years, and this 7 eleven was in my stomping grounds. Every time I have walked in there, the same friendly, older asian fellow has worked behind the counter.
I moved to the SE side of Calgary 3 years ago and haven't frequented this 7 Eleven for years until the Easter Long Weekend. Who served me? You guessed it. Friendly, smiley asian guy. Nice to see that this 7 eleven retains their employees.
What I love about this 7 Eleven is their coffee. When I walked in there, it took me right back to my "old routine" of going into this 7 eleven and doctoring up an extra large decaf coffee with hazelnut flavor and milk.
This location is always clean and organized and the coffee station is often packed. Since there is no timmys or starbucks in this area, 7 Eleven gets a lot of the coffee business I imagine.
It was awesome to walk in there after a 3 year absense and have my old routine ready and waiting.
