Its alright. This streetcar gets me from point a-to-b.
What sucks?
-The lake destroys the surface underneath and causes the tracks to go awry every 6 months. they have to close part of Queen Quay for track repairs and seem to occur between Lower Simcoe and Rees St.
-It wakes me up in the morning!!
What's cool?
The route -- flies up/down into the Ferry Docks bat cave returning to Union Station.
I like it when the TTC drivers feel a bit hurried and reckless and let loose on the throttle down the tunnel. It really feels you're riding the red rocket :) -

I quite like this streetcar.
When i am catching a streetcar from Union Stn, there is a sign when you get down to the streetcar loop telling you when the next 509 & 510 streetcars are expected. This is SUPER helpul! So i know whether it makes sense to wait for the 509 (which goes to Bathurst), or to hop on the next 510 (and then walking to Bathurst from Spadina).
Another thing that gives the Harbourfront streetcars an advantage is that they have a dedicated lane! Hurrah! So even when there are jam ups along Queens Quay, the streetcars are moving pretty well. Most enjoyable.
It's the best way to get along the whole waterfront, right over to Billy Bishop Airport, and then on to the Exhibition grounds.Listed in: I Get Around
