Went here on a recon mission to check out their clothing selection. I wasn't very impressed. The place is very warm & welcoming (so much better than feeling crushed alive by the amount of clothes crammed into similar shops), but has so little stock that I didn't really find much that appealed to me.

They've got Blame Betty and an English brand I can't remember, plus a few more 'rockabilly' brands (not my thing, I like classic vintage) but nothing fit me properly, which is probably a brand thing, as I usually find Blame Betty dresses don't work with my proportions very well. As such, it was a bit of a let down - I usually walk out of vintage reproduction stores with either a bulging bag or a wish list a mile long, and at 4Stroke I didn't do either.

I'd love to revisit if they pick up more brands, but until then I'll keep to my normal haunts.

Great customer service though - I really appreciated it. Also, THEY HAVE SEATS in the changing rooms, and a proper mirror right outside. For that, they deserve massive props, considering how bloody annoying it is not to have either when you're trying on reproduction stuff, and how many sellers of it think such things aren't essential. You need to be able to see whether or not the whole length of the outfit is right and, if trying on a wiggle dress or crinoline, actually know if you're going to be able to sit in the thing!!
