I always go to this place to buy organic beans and lentils, as well as some fresh organic produce. The prices are fantastic and everything I've ever bought has been top-notch quality.

Closed on Mondays, I enjoy coming here otherwise - their apples, from farmer Phil, tend to be great.
Organic produce, with excellent Eco-ethics. 4 Life was one of the first places to get rid of plastic bags, and replace them with re-usable cloth ones (which you could purchase for about $2 and then return at some point if you wished).
Great variety for the food-conscious shopper.

4 Life is a organic produce store located in the heart of Kensington market on Augusta Ave. Here you can find organic fruits and vegetables with a lot of effort to support local nearby farmers and growers. Shelves are nicely laid out with labels indicating who, what and where, where possible.
They have also have cool music playing inside here from soul, rock n roll, roots etc. The staff are very friendly (esp the cute cashier guy who works on weekends) and sometimes they will give you not so peak condition organic produce for free if they like you! Nice Kensington community vibe here-I like grocery shopping here.
