Review from Stacey E.
I love brunch so my first order of business on any holiday is to locate the best eggs benny around. Most locals will agree this is the best breakfast in Sidney and I'm very much a fan of their crab benedict and their italian benedict. The potatoes are moist and cooked perfectly, the english muffins are high quality and the eggs are cooked to order just how you ask for them. I really like their hollandaise sauce too.
I've been in for breakfast 4 times in the past three weeks alone and each time had great service. The portions are on the large side so if you're a light eater you might want to team up on heavy breakfast things or plan to taking some home. I'm not usually a big fan of drip coffee but the dark roast here is fine though not really something I'd make a point of ordering.Listed in: Survival in Sidney

Kinda expensive, but still delightful. I recommend any of the eggs benedicts. I had the Crabby Benny. Costs $13 but tastes like $8-10. They would have received 4 stars if they threw in a free drink/coffee and/or a bowl of fruit with my meal.

Great little place with good atmosphere. The home made chorizo is a great addition to any breakfast.

Holy hell! One of the best breakfast joints I've ever eaten at. They have multiple types of eggs benedict. I got the Crabby Benny. It's eggs benedict with a crab cake on it. Delicious! Not sure what my wife's was called, but it was delicious too. We ate with some friends and we all got something different and everyone claimed theirs was the best. We are definitely going back as often as possible.

I have been here for both breakfast and lunch, both were good. The portions are a tad small and the prices a bit high, but the food is very fresh and tastes great. The bennys are really good, espcially the home-made hollandaise. The restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch; they close around 4 every day.

Sidney, BC
Love it!! Super friendly staff, quick and excellent service. Good food, done as I want it, kind of like having breakfast at home. Great place to get a real- world feel of what life in Sidney is like, authentic, warm lovey- doveyness!! Best and most favourite joint in town!!

We read reviews of this place that gave it 5 stars. (not in Yelp) So we made this our last breakfast after a week on Vancouver Island. True, we ate there only once but here's how it came to our table. The bacon was way underdone and had no flavor at all. The touted buckwheat cakes were soggy and underdone. The scrambled eggs were fine. The medium roast coffee was weak and very low flavor. We asked for water and got none. I asked to try the dark roast coffee but the waitress never returned with coffee though she walked by several times.
This is a tiny restaurant. When we were finishing eating there were people standing in line to get in. That probably explains the no refill on the coffee. They wanted us out. It may explain the underdone food...cook it fast and get folks in and out fast.
Either Sidney lacks restaurants, which isn't true, or this place has taken on an undeserved urban legend aura.
After breakfast we walked down to Serious Coffee where I had a good cup of coffee and my wife some good tea. Downtown Sidney is quite nice and worth a visit. There are remarkable bookshops there and, we noted, several other breakfast restaurants. -

Good breakfast/brunch place. Pretty good value. Not much seating though so there can be a wait. Try takeout and eat it on the Sidney pier.
