How often does one get put on a wait list for a show that is sold out, on the last Friday night running, and still manage to get a pair of seats... together!? That's what happened. And not on account of the show being any less than excellent either. See Courtney's review for a link to 'East of Berlin'.
The theatre lobby actually looks only partly complete, but in an informal and tidy way: all of the components are there, ticket counter, bar, and seats to wait. But something didn't seem quite finished... as if to reflect the seating area, which like other auditoriums was painted black with adequately comfortable seats and no more. I like this approach, actually. Whereas some theatres give off grandiosity in the lobby, only to enter into a dark room of stair-stacked chairs, at 2b Theatre Company, the outsides matched the insides. I like managed expectations.
Further notes: the service was friendly and helpful, bar counter was neat (first time i've seen the chalkboard thing done as a counter top), and acoustics, lighting, spacing/height of seats was good enough so that I could hear and see from the back-right corner. -

I have had two reason to be impressed with the '2b Theatre Company' in the last few days!
1. I inadvertently bought tickets for a December 4th show online, despite the fact that it was already Dec. 7th. Opps! Based on the fact that I had paid with paypal I was expecting a hassle in order to get my money back/book on a different day. Instead, Anthony from '2b' got back to me immediately asking which show I had intended to book for as well as passing along some other useful information about 'East of Berlin.'

Tickets were very affordable! student rate: $15, regular admission: $25 and group rate: $20.
