Located right in the heart of the shopping district, a great smoke shop that has an amazing stock of Cubans (not that we, Americans, are allowed to buy b/c of course that's against the law) and two old guys that look like they've been smoking the things since coming out of the womb. They got all the ancillary cigary things in there too - you know, like humidors, lighters, cutters, other kitsch and such. Hell, they sure are passionate about they're stuff and are super helpful and friendly!
Went in to buy a bunch for gifts - 'tis the season, you know - and had zero clue what I was doing or looking for, as I'm not a cigar smoker. One of the guys took me into the humidor room (is that what you call it?) and gave me a complete lesson on what makes one cigar better than another, why you'd care if a cigar were single-leaf vs. multiple leaf, what it means to be limited edition and more. In the end, I dropped like $500 on a great variety of cigars, which he pkg'd w/ great care, even setting me up w/ a disposable moisture packet thing to keep 'em hydrated till gift time. Goes without saying, I only bought non-Cubans - since, ahem, it IS against the law after all.
