Since my last review of this awesome establishment was inappropriately filtered I am going to try again.
This is the best place to get a coffee in Victoria. I absolutely love getting an Americano coffee from this shop. They are nice and the music is always good. The coffee is the reason to go though.
I know they roast their own coffee and that they are serious about training their staff on how to properly make a coffee.
Yumm yumm and yumm again. Great coffee, good music and nice people. What else could you ask for.1 Previous Review: Show all »

Small, cute coffee shop serving up some really excellent coffee. I dropped in feeling a bit haggard after my ferry ride over to the island, and the delicious cappuccino that I was served perked me right back up. The staff member that was working was really friendly, and asked me whether I wanted my cappuccino served in a traditional cup or in the slightly larger, rounded cup. Of course, I opted for traditional, but it was nice that he acknowledged that preferences vary depending on what you're used to (Starbucks venti half-fat, non-sweet etc. etc. etc. latte drinkers might be incensed at the size and flavour of a traditional cappuccino).
The other patrons were really friendly too! If you're not a coffee person, there's a wide selection of teas for your quaffing pleasure. There was also a good selection of baked treats and things available, which I didn't try. If I recall correctly, there were vegan and gluten-free items...? But don't quote me on that one. Come for the coffee, and you won't be disappointed.Listed in: Liquid Lunch

Great coffee roasted by the owner. No bitterness in the americano. I have been in about a dozen coffee houses and this one by far has a superior product.

The only reason I don't give this a perfect score is the ambience of the furnishings is a bit weathered. A perfect five for quality!
