I was only at 1848 a few times during university, but when there were events here, it could be a lot of fun! Usually there isnt a large crowd here, but sometimes special events can really fill 1848 up!
There are lots of special nights here for holidays throughout the year and also nights with different cheap drinks--the usual type of deals on pitchers, nachos, pints, Jagerbombs etc.
This bar is super convenient for students since it is right by the library in the University Centre. For those living in residence, it is easy to get back home after a night of fun too. -

my friend's poutine was obviously cooked in a microwave but i didn't have the heart to tell her.
bland food, but the price reflects what you'll expect.
i would recommend to just come here for drinks instead.
