I am not sure if there is an exact science to how drivers are selected for routes but the one thing I do know is that the 111 East Mall has the nicest drivers.
Not only do they slow down for you when you are running to catch their bus, they also go out of their way to ensure their passengers get to their next connection.
Last week an older gentlemen got on the bus and asked if this bus went to Square One. This route doesn't go to Mississauga but the driver said "get on and I'll get you where you need to be". He then honked profusely at the Mississauga bus in front of us and even helped the old ma off the bus.
Honestly I was so taken aback by his acts of generosity that I emailed the TTC to commend this driver. It's nice to see people take pride in what they do.
