This place is on 17th avenue looks like your typical clothing store from the outside but when you go in, it is enormous. Don't expect too much in the way of interior pimping but do expect the best in HIP HOP gear.
I was wandering around the store and there is tons of merchandise here, hoodies, shirts, kicks, jeans. I was looking at pricing, a hoodie at $120 what the heck could be priced so high and then I saw the labels. Baby Phat, Ecko, and Sean John.
Here it is folks the best of the best HIP HOP labelling and right here in Calgary and $120 for a Sean John is unheard of for me, I mean that is CHEAP.
If you are a bboy/bgirl come to this store, you don't need to go anywhere else, Michael and staff look incredibly friendly as well, and there is also another outlet at the Chinook Plaza.
If the kicks were in smaller women's sizes I would have bought a pair, they is dope. -

Okay, if you know anything about me, you probably know that I'm a scenester indie rocker that doesn't care much for the hip-hop underculture. 100% Legit offers the fashion for this cliché.
Of course, of my friends that enjoy hip-hop, they recommend 100% Legit as being a local store that offers truly authentic gear.
To be honest, I'd never go in the place. But I've heard that they have among the best staff in the city. And I've seen people of all ages go into that place. It looks clean and like their care about their displays. From the windows, it looks like an excellent fashion retail establishment.
I have no complaints about 100% Legit.
