Review from Nicole B.
Ottawa, ON
Though I haven't been here recently, when I lived in residence at the University of Ottawa, I was probably here every couple of weeks. This is just the place for a quick slice on the way home from a fun night out.
On the weekends this place can really get lined up at night, so it is best to leave the bar a bit early if you want to get ahead of the crowd. However, when you are lined up you can actually see how fast they are cooking the pizza and appreciate it's freshness.
The pizza is nothing special, but its hot and cheesy and it hits the spot after a night of dancing. -

1 for 1 Pizza is as utilitarian as the name is. You walk in and you get exactly what you pay for. A slice will set you back $2.50. There's no menu, just what you see in front of you. The lights from where the menu boards should be make the place feel a bit like a hospital.
The walls are chipping paint. They do have a nice flat screen, most for the guys sitting around to watch. The chairs are ripped that the tables are wobbly.
Still, if you're just walking in and out to get a slice, it serves its purpose. The pizza was fine. Nothing particularly exciting about it, but nothing wrong with it either. I walked in hungry and I left fed. There's not much else to say about it.
