This was my first time using this company, but will not be my last! Absolutely fantastic experience with them. The online booking was simple and straight forward, and was able to complete it in a few minutes. They called well before my scheduled time to inform me they were running late, this was appreciated. Another team called a short time later to say that they would be able to come on schedule (that was a lie! they were actually EARLY!!!!). 2 very polite guys came, gave a fair quote and before I could say start, they were done :)

Established in 1997
In 1989, university student Brian Scudamore encountered a tight summer job market in Vancouver, Canada. So, he bought a used pickup and started "The Rubbish Boys", a junk removal service with the slogan "We'll Stash Your Trash in a Flash!" After three successful summers, Brian took his business to the next level. He changed the name to 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, invested in more trucks, hired student drivers, and set out to make his company and its phone number a household name. Since 1997, the company has enjoyed exponential growth and widespread recognition for its business achievements, growing from a presence in one city to over 300 locations across three countries.
We have been in Calgary since 2003 and now also serve surrounding areas such as: Bragg Creek, Chestermere, Crossfield, Innisfail, Priddis, Red Deer County, Strathmore, Turner Valley, Airdrie, Bearspaw, Black Diamond, Cochrane, Didsbury, High River, Okotoks, Red Deer, Springbank, and Sylvan Lake

Hi! I'm David your local franchise owner of 1-800-GOT-JUNK? in Calgary. Our 1-800-GOT-JUNK? office is located in Bowness, half way between Shouldice Park and Bowness Park just south of Canada Olympic Park.
Being part of the 1-800-GOT-JUNK? business has enabled me to become part of the Calgary Chamber of Commerce, JCI Calgary, and the Calgary chapter of the Entrepreneurs' Organization. These great organizations have helped us grow to be one of the top five franchises in the 1-800-GOT-JUNK? system, and has given us the opportunity to expand our operations to encompass the 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise in Hawaii. We have even participated in being a case study for the University of Calgary MBA program.
Thank you to the 10,000 plus customers in Calgary who have hired us to remove 10,000 tones of junk from their homes and businesses. We still have lots of work to do, but we are getting it done, one truck at a time.
